Welcome to Britain in 1984. When young activist Mark Ashton brings together a group of lesbian and gay campaigners to support striking miners in South Wales, an unexpected alliance begins to grow. Despite prejudice, opposition and very different backgrounds, the two communities discover friendship, solidarity and the surprising power of standing together.

Funny, moving and bursting with heart, Pride brings the spirit of the acclaimed 2014 film to the stage with an original soundtrack inspired by pop, rock, disco and the rich Welsh choral tradition. Developed and directed by Matthew Warchus, who also directed the original film, with book and lyrics by the film's screenwriter Stephen Beresford, the musical celebrates friendship, courage, kindness and community.

Following record-breaking sold-out runs at Cardiff's Sherman Theatre and London's National Theatre, Pride moves to the Bridge Theatre in London.
